I've started field tests on a fuel pill from a USA manufacturer that purports to improve fuel consumption by between 10% and 20%.
Before I did this I did the requisite due diligence on the blogs, forums and the like, and found a huge number of negative posts about the subjects, some of which could be traced back to either disgruntled MLM marketers or to those representing competitor products.
The trials will last about a month, after which I will line up industrial trials...

I watched the news yesterday about Shell's record quarterly profit of around £3.6 Billion, and there was mention of the breakdown of a litre of gasoline, as follows:
The sale price is £1.07 per litre of which £0.53 was direct taxation, £0.16 was VAT, so the direct tax as a % of sales price is £0.69 or 64%.

My wife's been on at me for ages to get a Satellite Navigation gadget. It's almost as bad as being made to feel small having a three year old Nokia that's so "uncool". It's only a bl**dy phone for Ch***ts sake!
Well I took a trip to Durham last week, and had 8 appointments on Monday and three on Tuesday, the last two being in Middlesborough and Hull. The day before I left (Sunday of...

| | Tired evening.
I was looking forward to a nice early rest tonight, until Omar got home and reminded me he was invited to a Laser Quest birthday at the Trafford Centre at 6:15!
What a time, I thought, to be driving around the M60 on a Friday. Thankfully, the traffic had all gone. I forgot that the UK shuts down at Friday lunchtime - unless, of course, you are a property tycoon
So I took both sons with me and Noor managed to do some shopping and...
