Hi All,
After releasing my plumber from his duties I am looking to outsource as much of the ongoing mundane maintenance that could come up with the 1 boiler in each of my 2
HMO's.
I am thinking British Gas could be the best way to go.
What contracts do you have your boilers on, for those that do? I am looking at Boiler only (Homecare 100) or possibly Boiler & Central Heating (Homecare 200).
I see Boiler only (Homecare 100) is £156pa (£13 per month - not sure how long it stays at this price for). or
Boiler + Central Heating (Homecare 200) is £204pa (£17 per month).
I have just had a new Worcester boiler installed in one of the properties so not sure whether it is worth risking having it not on contract as the rest of the system won't be covered with the boiler manufacturer, plus I'm not sure how long it takes for a Worcester bod to come out, only to say its something else wrong with the system.
The other boiler is 10+ years old but was installed by BG (not that that means much!).
I'm not up for having a small one-man plumber to sort out the boiler if it goes wrong as I can guarantee he'll be away when it goes wrong!
Any thoughts?
Thanks
