Default Credit Card for Cashflow - Argos

In case people here use Credit Cards for cashflow (refurbs, initial deposit etc etc), the downside is the eventually the interest free period runs out.

Argos have launched a credit card where the first three months on all purchases are interest free, and this offer is for the lifetime of the card. So Ideal for us investors Id say.

The only downside I can think of is that the credit limit will not be that high.

'allo Gurpal - hope things are good

Not in direct relation to your thread but I've had an Argos store card not 'credit card' for 3 years.

Got a crappy £500 limit - but it allowed me to buy washing machines & mattress protectors for 2 shared houses over the duration I've had it...

Just used it again as I've had a washer/ dryer go kapoot in a HMO...

* Are you aware of: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cards/ ?

Good thread on there about MOT's: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-mot (I live next to the Leeds test centre!)

Awighty Paul,

Good suggestion with the MOT, seems everything is near you these days!

Ive gone for the Argos Credit Card, purely because it took 2 mins to apply and Ill try it out, its a Master Card but Im pretty sure the credit limit will be small, however probably build it over time.

Also looking at it it seems you need to pay the balance on the payment date of the second statement, so just less than 3 months.
