Default Has anyone come across a company called Choices?

Just looking through some Auction stuff in London and this company popped up - seem to offer a subscription service to help investors etc. They also sell property at auction, assist with portfolio building blah blah

Just want to know if they are a rip off or if anyone has had good experience with them

Thks
Steve

Steven

Pretty sure that there are people on here with bad experiences - do a search on 'Choices' and you should get the relevant threads - I recall some discussions last year about them being dodgy.

Hi Steven,

I made an internet enquiry with them some 3 months ago and they just keep bombarding me with phone calls to get me to sign up. I only wanted some information but becuse of their pestering they can take a running jump.

I paid £250 for leads and auction notices for Oxfordshire.
Assured there were 70 + on the books.
When I managed to get on the site found 2. Both dodgy.
Phoned up about being misled and demanded money back.
Asked to send e-mail registering my disatisfaction.
Sent complaint by e-mail. E-mail reported as unavailable.
Tried contacting them through the web site link, no reply.
Now sent registered letter asking for money back.
Next stage will to claim off visa.
Be very careful.

Hi there,

I also paid £250 pounds for them to send me leads for properties at auction and in need of rehab and have in fairness got quite a lot of details sent to me. However, if I know now what I do I wouldn't have been so quick to sign up. What I intended to to use them for was to get the information as I'm sure that the listings they provided are not exclusive. What I can say is that it all depends on what you want to get out of them.

Regards,

Fadyboy

http://www.eigroup.co.uk - this is all you need to know about auctions - for around £400 per year their info & service is invaluable.
