| | I think it's fair to say that we all joined this forum on the understanding that it would only be available to members, and in my opinion that's the way it shoul stay.
Best regards John.

| | I'm honestly not 100% happy with this forum and considering of leaving it, I believe you can get same type of infos for free on singingpig website, and I'm not happy with the latest email from Deep asking to pay the forum membership by standing order rather than with credit card

| | Daniel,
You used to be able to get the same type of info for free on SP, but now we are mostly on here. This is evidenced by the decline in posts over there.
One of the primary reasons for moving here, is, I think, the privacy to network in confidence on a closed forum.
Hence the reasons for this thread.

| | It should be available to paying members only. Otherwise you will get people filling up the forum with useless posts, spam etc.
I think a splash page would be a good idea so those interested can find out more but keep the freeloaders out

| | I am a new member and the big draw for me was that you had to pay to view it. I felt that it would ensure that the members on it were serious investors, or at least serious about investing at what ever level. I agree with willf, all the post I read have good advise to questions asked and problem solving which I think would suffer if it was free to anyone.
A splash page would be a great Idea for those who are just looking to see if the site is worth paying the fee.

| | The forum is special to all members. We fill in a form to join.
We pay a monthly fee to allow us to read all postings, communicate, educate , be educated, to increase our knowledge and opportunities in the various methods of property buying, selling and letting.
It's a private members club.
Therefore to use the facilities outsiders must become a member and pay for the privilege
This must mean no freebies for those not willing to join and firewalls etc. to keep out search engines.
So NO NO NO to Google and all the others.

| | I hate to say it but unless we all stop paying it seems that's the only time Deep will take any notice because he certainly isn't listening to us.
Yes! you can get all the information you need on other forums but it's not quite the same as this one or PIPA 300. The people on here are unique as are on PIPA. Perhaps you should all go over to PIPA 300, they are increasing the amount of people they want to join and it's not open to the search engines.
Sorry if I sound a bit harsh Deep but you just aren't listening to the people that pay you a huge amount of money every month. I don't normally get annoyed very easily but I don't think you understand how this can affect other people especially after Saffa's post.
