| | i wish the kids and wife get used to the fact that the sky controls are mine!
infact to ensure my wish comes true, i'm going to buy a safe from b&q's and fix it to the floor next to 'my sofa'.
i'll then lock it away every night and take it back out every evening! problem solved - wish granted!!
...maybe i'm being a little selfish? maybe i should somehow attach the controls to the wall using a chain (much like a pen in the post office) and in that way everyone can use them?
..........na, the kids know where the bolt cutters are! i think i'll stick with the safe!!!!

| | My penthouse flat in Brighton overlooking the beach, plus a similar 'place in the sun' by the end of 2008.
All the ideas given above just sound totally unrealistic!!!!!

| | I'm with you Adam I cant see Saffett's wish happening, we've all been trying this for years.
They always get their hands on the controls.
Saffett good luck with your wish, if it does come through can you please post how you went about it. I could do with some help in that department.
All the best

Now that tops the wish list for us all this year. Only hope that surveyors have the same thing on their wish list, however i think their top of the wish list is to value all houses at purchase price or lower.
Derek
P.S. Hope we dont have any RICS surveyors on the forum.

| | 2007 has been the best year of my adult life.
My life has been more fulfilled, more stable, happier and more able to handle the inevitable challenges that life throws at us.
My New Years wish would be 2 fold, if that's allowed.
Firstly that 2008 is as good for my family as 2007 has been,
and
Secondly that more people in 2008 can experience those similar feelings in their lives that I am so grateful for. Joy, Abundance, Contribution, Peace and Balance instead of Fear, Stress, Lack, Worthlessness and Pain. To all forum members, I hope your 2008 is even better than your very best expectations.

I second what you say Phil but we must realise in order to appreciate Joy, Abundance, Contribution, Peace and Balance we have to experience the Fear, Stree, Lack, Worthlessness and Pain. Realising these things makes the journey through life in which we experience a heck of a lot easier.
I wish everyone a happy, relaxing and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Phil x | Any chance you can bottle some of that for me phil.
I hope that next year brings me a direction that I am happy with and a strategy that will continue to bring security and happiness to my family. Being quite work focused if I am happy being productive generally I am a happier chap all around. If not I can be a bugger to live with. Feeling a bit unproductive and unsure of which way 2008 will take me. But then again what a great time to set a new strategy.
So 25 bottles of what phil's drinkin' and I should be ok.

Wishing you all the best and the same sentiments as everyone else for 2008!

| | In 2007 I thankfully discovered that I was a lot better off not trying to do everything myself.
This year Ive achieved much more than I have ever done before and had more quality time to enjoy life, by builing a team, and being part of that team.
I have also found, more than ever that the only constant is change and that things are not going to stay the same, however much I try and force them to.
Therefore I hope that I can continue to adapt to the new challanges ahead and make the best of every situation that I encounter.
Onwards and upwards!
PS I'd also love the sole selling rights to Phils elixir of life.

| | New Year's wishes:
- to meet at least as many good people next year as I have this year.
- to continue to enjoy what I do as much as I have so far, which is a great deal!
- to help and / or inspire as many people as I can to achieve what they want, whether that's family, friends or clients | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
