Just a quick introduction to everyone on the forum. I am a new TMA member that is looking to build my knowledge in property whilst expanding my property portfolio.

I'm based in Derby and am currently looking to buy BMV property in this area. I would appreciate any property sourcers on the forum to get in touch with me.

I would also welcome some advice on the following 2 subjects.
Firstly I am currently looking at a property with 5 self contained flats and wanted to know what finance options are available in order to put down as little deposit as possible apart from going with Paragon who I believe have a 75% btl mortgage.
Secondly I am looking for a JV partner and have some people in mind (was looking for a JV agreement which I got from the London Property Meet section-very useful) but wanted to know how much interest I should be paying any potential investor.

In response to your question re: JV partner, it depends on how much return they are looking for compared to circa 3% that they get from the bank?

Also, consider whether they'd JV on a split profit basis?
