We have over 50,000 posts from our members discussing every imaginable aspect of property investment. For example, go to our general chat section - http://www.property-system.com/aucti...splay.php?f=55. In the top left of the page you will see page numbers going all the way back to the very beginning of this forum. Click on the page numbers to see all our archived articles and posts.

Hi all,

Thought this would be useful to all members - a simple guideline to help you get the most out of the forum.

Certain rules of unspoken etiquette are recommended to be followed when using Internet forums. They include:

* One should read all the rules and guidelines established by the community. Some communities may have different regulations on a particular subject.
* One should always be courteous.
* Before creating a new topic thread, one is advised to search to see if a similar topic already exists.
* Contributors should follow standard grammar and spelling rules and avoid slang.
* If the forum is categorised, one should strive to post in the correct section.
* When making a inquiry, one should include as much detailed information as possible, especially in the subject line.
* Contributors are asked to stay on-topic.
* Contributors should avoid double posting and Crossposting.
* To avoid appearing self-absorbed, one should respond to topics started by others more often than starting topics of their own.
* Contributors should avoid the use of all CAPITAL LETTERS in posts. All CAPS is considered "shouting" and causes readability issues.
* One is advised not to resurrect a very old topic if nothing significant will be added.
* One should try to refrain from lashing back at a poorly behaving member or participating in a flame war; instead, notify the admin staff of the event.
* When quoting a previous post, one should only include the relevant portion of that post. Contributors are requested to keep in mind that their audience can likely still see the message they are quoting on the same screen and can read it again if need be.

* A web community is like any other community - imagine you're walking into a room full of people you haven't met and act accordingly when you start posting
* A subtle way to sell is to include a reference to your product / service in your signature
* Deep breaths before you post a hasty reply in the heat of the moment
* The more you give the more you receive (by some means) - that includes friendship and warmth
* Smile while you post - your good feelings will come across in what you type

Hi just wanted to introduced myself, I'm pretty much new to the property arena. I'm really interested in getting to know more about buying BMV properties with little or no money down. Its nice to finally find a site that has likeminded people all aiming to achieve a common goal in property.

Monica
p.s. This site has so much information where do I start? - please help!!

Hi Monica,

Welcome to the forums

The best place to start is the general chat section. Also make time to briefly browse each section to see if they contain any info you may need in the future.

Do not be overwhelmed by all the info!

Please use the search facility to find answer on particular topics

Any further questions drop me a PM

Hi everyone

my name is Rebecca and new to this community of property investors network. I'm not a pro as yet when it comes to properties but neither am I a novice as I have got a couple of BTL's. My patch is North London [Enfield/Barnet/Finchley etc] for BMV deals.
The info on this forum is over whelming, just reading the posts seems to address a lot of questions. Are there any friendly persons out there to welcome a newbie???

kind regards

Rebecca
