Default G'Day

:D I am looking to start on my way to financial freedom. I have been working as a Residential Advisor at a Real Estate for a couple of months. I figured if I was going to be buying properties I would rather be doing it myself than paying someone else.

I am in Western Australia

Joan

Welcome to the Property Tycoons forum Joan. I believe you are our first member down under

It would be really interesting to hear about the type of techniques being used by investors in your part of the world. Easiest way to have a look is by scanning your local and national newspapers for ads from real estate investors.

Perhaps we could learn something and vice versa of course.

Default G'DAY

Hi Joan, welcome.

I'ts great to have a member of the forum in Australia, i only officially joined yesterday, so i am also new to the forum.

I will try my best to help you, if i can in anyway, but i got this feeling you may be able to help someone like me, who is interested in option to buy, or sometimes called RENT TO OWN.

Especially when you work in real estate and are on the ground, where option deals are quite popular i understand.

Anyway welcome again, and a happy new year. :P

G`Day Joan,
Welcome to the forum, at least you will have the benefit of outside advice from this community.

You might be more clued up with the options deals you do out there as it is supposedly a lot more common in Aussie Land?

All the best!

G'day!

Welcome to the forum and don't forget to invite us all to the first 'down under' PMM meeting. 8) Good luck and who knows, we might even be doing business soon.

Regards,

Bobby

Hi Joan,
Welcome to this great forum.
What a great place Aus is, just got back on Friday, unfortunately went for the cricket!!! and to see rellows etc.
Last time there was backpacking in 93/94 won't leave it so long next time.

Hi Joan,

Welcome to this fab forum.
I came back from visiting friends in Perth in November and can't wait to go back. Absolutely loved it out there.

All the best,
