Hi everyone!
I'm Linda Stewart and i'm based in Southsea on the South coast. I've lived here for five years after spending seventeen years in London.
I am self employed and manage a team of sales representatives in the beauty, cosmetics field. Its network marketing and provides me with a modest but growing passive income. My background is in the health industry/alternative therapies and I also spend a few hours every week working as a smoking cessation advisor for the NHS which I find very rewarding. .
I started work 24 years ago (I know I look much younger :-)) and 'did my time', then left the 'rat race' in 2000, spent the best part of the next year travelling and have worked for myself ever since.
I've refurbished three properties and my modest achievements as a junior property professional include making £37,000 profit in eight weeks one one of them. I am passionate about property. There is always so much to learn and there are some wonderfully inspiring people in the business, many of who are on this forum.
In 2007 I am finally getting serious about property with a new
JV business partner on board and plans to find masses of motivated sellers for ourselves to build our portfolio and for other investors. We are ready for the challenges ahead and plan to have lots of fun in the process.
I am passionate about travel and so far have travelled in Thailand, Burma, Bali, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Holland, The Gambia, Egypt, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and lots more to come i'm sure! I also love writing, talking, people, and the simple things in life.
I'm really pleased to be part of this great forum. I've spent hours reading all the posts, am fascinated by some of the deals being done and am here to learn and help out in any way I can.
