| | Hello Everybody I have just joined this forum after receiving a few emails from Parmdeep.
I live in London which seems to be a haven for property investors. After having gone through an expensive divorce I really AM starting over from scratch. I knew I had to get into property somehow and my partner and I are researching and looking to set up a letting agency. A big advantage is that my partner is fluent in 6 languages and I can understand Russian reasonably well. That, with my new found business connections in London, seemed like a good avenue to get into the property market and learn about it without major capital investment I don't have.
Then I came across Parmdeep's sites. I am going to plough through this forum and learn as much as I can before asking questions. I REALLY DO want to create financial independence for my family and I feel this is the only way. Is this really possible starting from scratch with little/no capital? I am resourceful, can I start sourcing 'dynamic sellers' for a finders fees to build up capital?
Looking forward to learning and earning.

Yes it most definitely is. Talk to as many forum members as you can and learn the business first. Aim to spend a year just learning and watching. Go to meetings too.
Out of that, you'll get to know people with money. Start looking for deals yourself - in partnership with someone more experienced if possible. The money is not difficult at all when you have a good deal on your hands and contacts looking to invest capital.

Deep | Thanks for the reply. My partner and I intend to research and go to as many meetings as possible. I am looking to buy your first course and concentrate on researching and practicing gathering 'motivated sellers' first, just to get a feel for the market.
I reckon we are about 3 months away from launching our lettings business, more research yet and website is about complete which I intend to use for property purchases etc.
Anyway, thatnks again for the reply.

| | Hi Michael,
If you go to the 'share your property related experiences here' section, you can read my story headed under, 'oh no not another true life story, who needs Heat?' You can also read 'Vadesha vs Beeny' which is about my experience with Sarah Beeny on 'property Ladder'.
I hope all goes well for you, good luck,
Heidi. x | |
