Have joined as a paying member now. Have been reading the posts this past week, and the people here are great compared to ther Forums I have been looking at :D !

As a newbie to this game, I'm in the process of setting everything up to have all the resources I need in place, in order to do some marketing round here and other areas nearby. I may well ask for help in evaluating my first Deal to make sure I have everything covered.

I liked John Rattigans's story as I've been through that in Corporate world but got out with ££ a year ago, and have had a year off to see what I want to do but the ££ has to come in soon now. I've been the breadwinner for many years so must make this happen.

I'm also petrified of doing that first BMV deal - does everyone feel like this the first time? Even though I have all the basic knowledge I need, and will be placing ads shortly and doing other marketing activities. But I have big dreams and know I'll be successful - once I get over the initial fright!!

I'm also the proud parent of a nearly 10 yr old Son, and Chair of Governors at his school - instead of being a complaining parent, I got stuck in. My Husband is totally behind me in this venture (as with the other business we've started), so we can be our own Boss and be here for our kids, as well as showing them what they can do when they're old enough to do this business.

We all get nervous when we start, but the more you learn and the more you talk to people about property the easier it becomes. There are lots of meetings nowadays, Deeps manuals and of course the forum has loads of info.... Good luck both :D

Welcome, dont worry you have a newby right on your doorstep, I am just outside high wycombe in Marlow. I have also found the messages on this forum to be fantastically encouraging and helpful. Most other forums and property clubs just seem to want your money. I read the messages daily and find them so encouraging and helpul. My first steps into property are going to be so much easier because of the support and information available here. A big thank you to Deep.

I was born in Wycombe and lived there for over 20 years, where abouts are you?
Probably my first interest in property was visiting my friends enormous 8 bedroomed house in Daws Hill Lane! ':mrgreen:'

And John my grand parents lived in Marlow, thank you both for triggering some nostalgic memories.
