I'm so pleased to have joined the forum.
I'm 61 and am hoping to build a reasonable sized portfolio to help us through our retirement. I bought my first BLT in 1999 and a couple more in the next 2-3 years, unfortunately the standard way, putting in 15% of my money. Recently sold 2 of them BMV to my daughters to get them on the ladder. I now have to do the same for my son.
Last year I bought 1 apartment through Inside Track which is due to complete on 9/4/07 (hopefully), as it was suppossed to complete last Sept.
I will not be buying anymore through them. I have also got 3 new builds with at least 15% VGD through Challenors due to complete very soon.
Now that I have learnt about the system through Parmdeep and the others who gave seminars at Excel last week-end, I want to go down this route.
I have been looking down here for deals, but I feel that props are so expensive here compared with wages and rentals, that even if I can find BMVs it doesn't look like they will stack. Hopefully you may all prove me wrong and it can work.
I look forward to meeting all of you enthusiastic like minded investors.
