I'm a very new member so thought I would just say hi to everyone. I am really impressed by the forum and all the friendly people here.

Background: Spent most of my life flying for the Army (best job on earth) but now a bit longer in the tooth, so a more mundane life. I live just outside Edinburgh, in Fife, and started in BTL property about 3-4 years ago. Also added some BTL properties through Instant Access, both in UK and USA. These are doing fine, and sit very firmly in the safe but sure category, but did require some (lots) of cash up front, so am now much more interested in increasing the portfolio through BMV properties.

Would really love to meet anyone from the local area for a coffee or beer, to chew the fat, talk about the market etc, or even help organise a Central Scotland meeting of like minds if there is sufficient interest. Anyway, very glad to be on board, and look forward to reading the news in the forum.
