We recently listened to 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki. It's was a major eye opener. We suddenly realised we had zero assets, just a big pile of liabilities. We don't even own our own house.
We realised some investements were going to have to be made, and after some investigation it seemed that the best (only?) way to do that with no money was through property.
The 'Home Buyers Show' at Excel was perfectly timed and we were really motivated after going to that. Since then we've been to a few of the 'free' seminars that the different companies offer to entice you onto their full course. We've got a little information at each of them, but Deep's 'Success! through property' is really great! :D
We're currently trying to sort out a team of the professionals we are going to need. So if anyone has any recommendations of good people that would be great. We're in South East London at the moment so any mortgage brokers, solictors, accountants in that area would be particularly fantastic.
That's where we are at the moment, but watch this space.
