Default A big HELLO and some BIG questions on Finders Fees etc.

Hi All,

- Can someone tell me how you ensure that finders fees are paid upon completion. Is a legal document and/or a solicitor required?
- How is it possible to complete within a week? Surely surveys are necessary and a solicitor would have to be on standby for conveyancing?
- This might seem like a daft question but what are the benefits of buying and holding on to property BMV. Surely it's like buying a £1 coin for 80p. If you could do that wouldn't it be better to keep buying and selling (trading) rather than paying mortgages, finding tenants, experiencing voids, interest rate rises etc.?

Many thanks in advance
Richard Blandford

Hi, Richard,
I am fairly new to all this but I have found out lots on this forum.
I dont know about ff's but I do know that there are people on here who have very good teams of financial people ready and waiting for your call. They can complete in a week because they all work together. (broker, solicitor and financing) and can rush things thru if needed!
If you sell, sell sell then you have to pay Capital Gains Tax and this is 40% of profit so not always a good idea to sell everything.
Hope this helps I'm sure someone else will answer with a better explanation soon.
As I say I'm new and still learning. Best Wishes Lynda
