Hi everyone,

My name is Jon Allen from Loughborough in Leicestershire.

Now you might be wondering why I put Loughborough / North London. It's a long story by my other half (pictured left with me) lives in North London.

Not entirely sure how we ended up in this situation but I live up here and she lives in Islington and as a result I spend a lot of time in the M1. Anyone that also spends time on the M1 will sympathise with me.

As a result I am looking for Below Market Value properties in both areas. I've already gone down the BTL route the tradional way with 1 property in Camden in London and 1 in Loughborough but bought with deposits and lots of stress, making as many mistakes along the way as i think possible.

So I've learnt the hard way and that is why i'm here, to do my best not to make many more.

Having spent some time over the recent weeks reading posts, I really have learnt a lot and I look forward in the coming months and years to posting on here some useful pieces of information to help other people avoid mistakes.
