5 years ago I came across a book, that changed my life. The book was Richdad Poordad by Robert Kiyosaki. I was in a situation where I had to decide , what to do with the rest of my life and was looking for new opportunities. I was brought up like Robert with a 'poor' but highly educated and clever dad. My learning was the classical; get a good education and get a good job. It worked for my dad and it worked for me til I was about 50 years of age. Then I got divorced and lost my life's savings. My good education helped me through my loss of money, but I have no pension!
I need to create a steady passive streem of income. My good education is still in value, but now rules are telling me I am too old.
I turned to property. Why? It has my interest and I had good knowledge about it. Today I have together with my husbond 6 BTL properties in England, 1 in Spain, 3 in Denmark and 2 in Morocco. I love it.
One of the properties in Morocco is placed in Marakesh and only 100m from the famous Place Dma el Fna. My dream is to turn it into a high class restaurant.
I need Capital for doing this. Since it is in Morocco I need cash payment, the bank system is still very heavy to work with. -and again it is a problem with my age!
What do I want from the forum? I need help to find below value properties I can renovate (redecorate) and sell on/evt. lend back to the owner with or without option.
