Default Hi there new property investor from Brighton

Just want to say hi to everyone. I'm fairly new the forum and the property investing although it's been a strong interest of mine over recent years. Can't wait to get going. Any tips for a novice, gratefully received!
Warmest regards
Estell

Hi Juswant
Can you please tell me if I will be able to get BTL mortgages, closed bridging loans, other financing for properties if I am not in a 'normal' 9-5 employed job? I am planning on leaving my job and property investing full-time. Also, as I am new to this, I wondered if this would go against me?
Thanks for your help.
Warm regards
Estelle

Hi Estelle,

Giving up your normal job completely could create issues for some lenders.

Some do not concern themselves at all with personal income or work histories. Others will require minimum trading times if self employed (unless the self employment is a similar one to previous full time job)

Please feel free to call or email me if you would like me to explain the BMV process and an overview of the main BMV lenders and thier criteria.

Rgds

Pete
