Big hello to the forum from here in sunny Liverpool - well, it's sunny when the force 9 winds blow the rainclouds away...

A little about me? 40's, married with 3 girls - two young teenagers and a younger wannabe teenager. Any coincidence that I work away from home 3 days a week???!!! I love 'em all, honest!!!

New to property investment, although I do have one property currently rented out, so no longer a BTL virgin in that respect

What do I want from property investment? My 5 year goal is to have acquired enough assets/capital to pay off current residential mortgage and be self sufficient. Short term acquisition goals - 5 properties by end of 2007 (roughly 1 per month), 15 properties in total by end of 2008. But happy to revise these based on know-how from Deep and, hopefully, the more experienced (more than me at any rate!!) amongst you out there.

Strategy - local properties to retain and rent out. BMV deals across UK to gain capital.
