Hmm. Good target one per month for next five years. That's sixty properties. Four years ago, I told a friend of mine he couldn't possibly buy more than two per year, and he proceeded to buy 17 in 14 months. So 2 years later, I decided to see if I could do the same, and bought 18 in six months.
Here's a tip. It doesn't happen linearly (as you move on, its easier to buy more with more experience) so break down your 5 year plan into the first year. Try something like this, and it won't get you down if you can't hit your target:
Year 1 5 props
Year 2 10 props
Year 3 15 props
Year 4 20 props
Year 5 10 props
