Hi All

I'm new to all this but have been researching for the last 6 months or so - need that little push to get started. Did a refurb last year which went well and we sold, but wished we hadn't now. So now looking to build a portfolio and trying to get to the bottom of the various ways to find the BMV's. So will be have a good old look round this forum and am really excited.

We have put an offer in on a 2 bed flat that needs a quick make over, and have tried a few others, but these are not really desparate sellers so not too keen to budge much. And the prices are quite high here anyway (Dorking area) so the BTL mortgages only just match the standard 125% rent to loan calculation, and most struggle to do that. So any help here is going to be great. Celeste

Welcome to the forum, and best wishes. As a fellow investor I empathies, but the good news is there are several great mortgages available that require less than 125% rental cover, in some cases only 100%. Feel free to ring to ring me for further discussion
