I have just returned from the Money Centre meeting at Copthorne/Effingham Park Hotel. Nice place, good food, disappointing presentations and pretty clueless 'consultant'. Enjoyed meeting with Deep (delightful young man isn't he?) and with Chris Bannocks (thanks for chatting with me and I'll make contact with you). I joined the original 4fastsale site 51 weeks ago and decided that today was THE day. 51 weeks of eager anticipation. I have been to most other trainers/experts. I have spent a lot (!) on courses, manuals, training sessions. Five properties under my belt and a reasonable understanding of what is involved. Cash in the bank from remortgaging TWO properties. I was fired up and ready to go.
But oh the despair that set in. It took me a while to transfer from 4sale to 4rum but then what horror was this? The first page I access: ALL the DEALS were GONE, GONE, GONE. This left me with a few LEADS to look over. By the time I had read the thread on 'duff leads' (and the conversion rate being 1 in 50, only 2% good grief) I pretty much decided that there was not much advantage in paying to be on this site.
High ANTICIPATION led to a CATASTROPHIC depression.
Ah well, I will make the best use of my one month's FREE membership and then I'll ATTEMPT to get out any money remaining from the 10 leads that I purchased a year ago and wont have used up. But here's hoping........

Wow, pretty astounding introduction. I guess it doesn't work for all of us. I went to a TMC seminar in Sheffield last June (2006) and it changed my life tremendously. After doing about 7 property deals, I then came across Deep's forum, and got after it enthusiastically.

Totally unrelated to the forum (and coincidental to the date of joining), I embarked on a mad dash across 2,000 miles of water, and decided to plump for our first overseas investment (apart from those in my wife's home country, and they don't count because they are liabilities for our future retirement, not assets). Six months on, and we registered a new company in Spain and our investments here will eventually account for 1/4 of our planned total.

Though the decision to do the foreign stuff was totally unrelated to this forum, I have had immeasurable gain since joining. You can't put a price on knowledge and networking, but had I joined just six months earlier, I am convinced that I would have invested about £100K less in that period to achieve the same results.

You are probably thinking by now that I am a Deep mouthpiece. I'm just an admirer. I had to smile the other day when I received an autoresponder that told me that I had earned my first affiliate commission from this forum. I guess I'm a really patient guy, or maybe my expectations aren't set too high. Don't discount the use of this forum until you have spent about 40 hours reviewing posts. Good luck with the free membership month, and surround yourself with positive people. It makes an enormous difference to results and well being.
