Default Hello again!!!

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself again as I haven't really contributed since joining....mainly because I am completely new to this and don't feel that I can offer too much in the way of advice (this will change soon).

Well my name's Samantha, I'm 22, work in advertising and also run a business supplying print (www.fifthprint.com).

I'm based in the West Midlands and am looking to focus on HMO's within this region. So whatever advice regards to pretty much anything property related will be greatly received.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and to find out everything I need to know for that elusive first purchase.

Samantha

Hi Alison,

Thanks for the reply. And welcome to you. How are you finding your property search? It would be nice to share some experiences with a fellow newbie.

Samantha,

So much property! Some great leads on here and from members that post their site addresses too.
I am going to my first informal meeting in Cardiff next week and I hope to get the answers to a few questions before I go and jump in! Everyone on this Forum is smashing and very helpful but it will be nice to have some face-to-face contact with other property "tycoons".
What is going to be your next move?

Alison

I totally agree about the leads, and have been looking at a few of the member's sites and have been considering the 'safer' option of buying a ready made deal, but then another side of me wants to do my own marketing.

I'm just trying to understand everything, but when I feel that I do something else crops up that completely throws me. I guess I just need to be braver and stop reading so much (someone on here gave me that advice).

Good luck in your meeting next week. I now have my evenings free again and am on the search for meetings in the West Midlands.

Hi Samantha and welcome, it gets easier after the first purchase!

It's good you've picked an area (type of property) already that you want to invest in. I do HMO's as well and we have regular meets in Huddersfield if you are ever passing this way: Huddersfield/Yorkshire Property Network I'm away for the next meeting and will be back in November. It would be good to catch up sometime and discuss ideas. You'll meet all sorts of people in the business and I highly recommend networking.

Wishing you all the best in property.

Bobby

Hi Samantha,

Welcome to the Property Tycoons Community forum! If you are looking for the biggest and most successful community of property investors who find and buy bargain properties using little or none of their own money then you've definitely come to the right place

Before you get stuck in, I highly recommend checking out the following essential beginner guides and resources to help you make the most of our Property Tycoons community:

1
. I have created a set of free members only training videos to show you how to find bargain properties. I created them all myself to teach our members how they can find bargain properties for very little and often no cost whatsoever. In other words you can use these videos to learn how to find bargain properties without spending a penny on advertising or marketing! These videos are extremely popular with our members and I'll be producing more of them to help you find and buy bargain properties using little or none of your own money.

To watch the videos go to http://www.property-system.com/aucti...s.php?catid=16
. PLEASE NOTE - these video files are HUGE so they may take a few minutes to load up. I wanted to make sure I packed in everything you needed to know about finding and buying bargain properties using little or none of your own money so I didn't leave anything out

Oh and while you are in the free downloads section you may want to check out all the other documents, audios, videos and files we have created to help you make more money in property. The free downloads section can be found by going to http://www.property-system.com/aucti...ocal_links.php
. This section of the forum contains dozens of free downloads you can use to make more money out of the property business with less risk. The audio sections for example contain several interviews I conducted with some of our most successful Property Tycoons community members (my personal favourites are "How To Buy 150 Properties In 2 Years" and "How To Buy A Ł165,000 House For Ł110,000 Using None Of Your Own Money"). We also add a monthly interview with our "Member of the Month" to the free downloads section each and every month. These are also very popular with our members and we have plenty more on the way to help you become more successful in the property business.

2. If you haven't already, check out this link Step 1 -> PLEASE START HERE
. There you can watch videos on how to make the most of all the features we have made available for you here at the Property Tycoons forum.

3. Go to this section http://www.property-system.com/aucti...tin/usercp.php
to set up your profile, upload your picture and customize the forum to suit you.

4. You can find a list of all our upcoming events and member birthdays here http://www.property-system.com/aucti...n/calendar.php
at our calendar page.

5. To access the ready made deals section of the forum go to http://www.property-system.com/aucti...splay.php?f=76
. This is where we post up our popular ready made deals for Tycoons members. To access all our property leads go to http://www.property-system.com/auction/members/admin_main.php - this is where you can buy the contact details of potentially distressed sellers of properties in your area. The instruction manual for using the Property Tycoons Leads Trading system can be found here http://www.property-system.com/LeadsSystemManual.htm

6. If you have any queries whatsoever you can contact our support department for help. Our "Tycoons Team" is responsible for this role. You can find them by going to www.tycoons-forum.com
. Scroll down the page until you see the "Forum Feedback And Queries" section. Feel free to post any query or feedback for us in there.

I wish you the very best with your property business and continued success.

Hi Samantha,
Welcome to the forum, and don;t give up. That first one is always the hardest. Before you buy, think about getting the first team together. The broker, the solicitor, line up the lenders via the broker.

For starters, my favourites are The Money Centre. There's quite a few TMC brokers on this forum. They will give sound advice.

Thanks Matt, I have now signed up to your site.

And thank you for the recommendation Gerry, as I am completely new to this I'm going to get in touch with one of The Money Centre guys to find out about how the whole financial side of things work.

Hi Samantha - the Bobby owns half of 'Uddersfield rumours are just that - rumours. We're simple folk up here, spending time out on the farm and milking the cows.

Feel free to pass by anytime though as owning half a town/city isn't as difficult as it sounds. It's the running and maintenance that can be a killer.

As in the wise words of the ex-pat Gerry of Pridham - "get your team together!"
