Hi all.

This is my first post here. I'm a workaholic with my own business so I know all about the hard work required to get what you want. I want to build a property portfolio to use as a pension and this is my first real step.

I have had a lifetime working in the construction industry, and whilst not much of that was at domestic level, the knowledge learned can be applied to any building. Most recently I have specialised in Structural Steelwork and if anyone needs help or advice on this subject please feel free to ask.

I was prompted to join up here after listening to Parmdeep talking at the Homebuyers show recently. I was impressed with what he said about how he achieved all he has. Reading through this forum it seems that there are many similar people amongst you.

I am looking at buy-to-let properties in Northampton and would welcome any suggestions on where best to find the right property deals.
