Any Nottingham contacts?

Hi all,
Just getting into the property market really. I Currently have two Buy to Lets and am hoping to expand this in the near future. If anyone could help with the following I would be very grateful:

1) Can anyone recommend a local accountant who is familiar with the issues surrounding property investment? My current guy is ok, but I'm concerned I may be missing a few tricks.

2) I work as an estate agent and am beginning to see signs of prices falling quite substantially (with even lower bank valuations), how can you protect yourself from this with regards to buyng BMV? is there a strategy?

3) Does anyone know of any Nottingham based property networks or groups that I could join?

Great to become a member, any advice/help will be gratefully received

Hi Frank,

Welcome to the forum.

I would not worry about protecting yourself against falling valuations, provided your current properties will be positive cash flow at interest rates without tie in discounts.

In fact, we should all be praying for the prices to soften. It will create many more BMV opportunities, and in cycles of decreasing property prices, rents don't go down with the prices, making it that much easier to find deals that stack.
