Another (Adopted) Welsh Dragon Joins the Club!!

A very warm hello to everyone!

Ok I was born and raised in Stoke on Trent and in 1998 I moved to South Wales, Caerphilly area. I have been a nightclub manager for ten years, a Police Officer for two years and am now currently employed as a contracts support manager for a national security firm.

So if you need any help with crime prevention or advice on the pub / club trade or require a security guard I’m your man!!

I have been interested in property for a number of reasons:

I want to create an environment where I can be my own boss
That I have Financial Freedom!
To spend more time with my family
Ensure that my children are financially secure.

Now I can well imagine that many members here have the same goals as mine but it’s important for me that I state it on my introduction as a sort of must do list for me to strive to achieve.

I have been reading the many BMV posts on ‘Singing Pig’ for what seems like ages now and decided last week to join this friendly forum to help give me a kick and get my portfolio up and running.

Being a BMV virgin I am looking for perhaps one of the Welsh (or any one for that matter) members to put me under their wing and give me some guidance (any offers??)

Especially as I have just brought 2 qualified leads from Robert Clark’s site and am preparing for my first phone calls to the vendors – wish me luck!!

Lastly, you all seem very helpful, friendly people and I am really excited to have joined ‘the family’. I look forward to speaking with you all soon.

Welcome to the forum. It's great that you have stated your goals. Try to put on paper a five year dream objective (eg, I will have £2,000 per month net income from property), then break that down into what you will have to do each year to achieve it. Remember that these things grow quickly, so perhaps the first year would only need to be to generate £200 a month from property. Give it a go. It gets really simple once you break down an enormous task into small steps.
