Crickey where to start?
A brief description of myself: Plumber/builder, married to Janet, 3 kids (Oliver, Rachael and Emma) 2 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit and a guinea pig.
I stumbled onto Parmdeep many months ago and got the usual emails etc but it was always 2 oclock in the morning etc so I just didn't get around to signing up but now that I have I realise I should have done so straight away! The amount of information at your fingertips is staggering!
Of paramount importance to me is to be able to access knowledge gained by you pros that have succeeded and learn by your mistakes (which can be expensive)
I have a very small portfolio of 2 flats, both for no money down and with very positive cashflow. I'd like to brag and and say that I did it the right way but the truth is it was more by accident than being a canny investor (OPEN bridging! never again! Saved by mortgage express.) What I have learned however is that done correctly property investing is the answer to my prayers. The way I see it is that with hard work, due diligence, the right contacts, BMV properties and the right mortgage products ( and of course CLOSED bridging) the sky is the limit.
I would love to hear from like-minded people in my neck of the woods so please say hello.
