Hello from ONEPORTFOLIO

A warm 'geordie' hello to everyone in the forum.

I am one of the partner's, along with Michael Cookson, of ONEPORTFOLIO a property investment company based in Newcastle.

We were introduced to Property Tycoon indirectly by forum member Gerry Pridham who, having made an appointment to visit us, started a thread seeking information about our company. To say that this thread (ONEPORTFOLIO) quickly developed into a 'whodunit' mystery plot is only a slight exaggeration! But seriously, I think this thread which has had c1300 visits to date, demonstrates the power that this forum has both as an informational and communication resource and as a 'policeman' of property investment companies. With four thread contributors now being clients of our company 'woe betide' us (as my grandmother used to say) if the property sourcing service we promise is not delivered to their requirements and expectations.

This ability to serve judgement on a company almost instantly to all members is, I believe, one of this forum's greatest strengths, and one that any company genuinely seeking to serve its clients best interests should welcome. In business nothing concentrates the mind more than the opinions of your customers and the aforementioned thread has been of great value and interest to myself and Michael.

So Gerry, if you are reading this, thanks for starting the thread and introducing us to Property Tycoon, and once again a warm 'hello' to all other forum members.

Congratulations on joining the forum, it’s a really great place to be.

There’s loads of good advice to be found here, as well as thousands of like minded property professionals who’s expertise covers every aspect of the property business.

Hi Christine

My apologies, as you have been somewhat misinformed by the person you spoke to, who has only been with the company for two weeks. Myself and Michael have regularly read these forums, all the more so since Gerry Pridham started a thread about our company a few weeks ago. As you aware, it is possible to access the forum without joining and I think this is where the confusion has arisen. We speak to many potential investors every week, many of whom are are first time/inexperienced, and I believe the wealth of information available here would be of great benefit to them. That is why, as part of our service, I decided to offer an initial free subscription to investors who visit us in Newcastle. In turn, it followed that we should obviously join also. I hope this clears up the confusion rather than adding to it!

Stick a bomb under Michael, I thought I was the only one waiting for our first deal with Oneportfolio. As Gerry was before me I suppose I'll have to wait a bit longer.
