New joiner from Brum

Hello all, been lurking here for a couple of weeks now. Like most people I've made a few new year resolutions and trying this forum was one of them.

Brief intro - packed up "traditional" employment couple of years ago in favour of trying all things property-related. Trouble is I've been a lazy git up to now and have tended to sit back and enjoy the proceeds each time I done any deal, but this year I'm going at it like a savage and it's lasted 3 days so far!

You've got some great contributors on this forum, many I recognise from singing pig (sorry to see it's turned into a bit of a sickly pig over recent times). A few 'personalities' too so it could be interesting...

Interested in anyone who can bring anything Birmingham-related to my table and always ready to pay well for it with the purple folding stuff. Likewise I would like to be able to pass non-required leads on for other parts of the country to people I know and trust (big hint - I don't do business via hotmail). Non-believer in the current culture of lead-selling I'm afraid but glad to pay with finders fees either way around as we scratch each others backs in the old fashioned sense.

Anyway, enough waffle..I'm gonna post up a sell and rent-back query in the next hour and look forward to a barrage of suggestions!!!..bit late now but happy new year to all of you anyway..nice to be nice..Pat

Fine thanks Adam, no I've tried to steer clear as much as poss as was falling out with too many piggies! (have always worn my heart on my sleeve a bit).

Seems there's a decent bunch on here so I'll try to contain myself as much as I can..!!

I'm already thinking of setting up a Phil Martin Appreciation Society and I'm going to follow that with the John Cummings Fan Club. If either of them refuse I've got Gerry Pridham waiting in the wings.. nice to be nice..Pat

Hi Andy, Gowel..who? can't say mate but he sounds like trouble to me! Yes doing fine thanks, meant to get up to Chester loads of times since we first met but somethings always gotten in the way. Wont make this months one either but Feb or March I'll book some accom up there and have a night on the tiles!! See you soon..Pat
