Let me introduce my self and give you some back ground;

I currently own 2 rental propertys which i bought 2000 & 2004 which i have had some very painful headaches from mainly from my own stupidity and being a soft touch!! (These propertys are in leicester) i moved to The north east 2 & half years ago didnt work for a year and studied CeMap and became a Mortgage adviser and concentrated on that for 18 months, and now i am confident whith the adviser side of things i want to get back in to BTL'S and increase my portfolio massively , to be fair 2 propertys over 8 years !!! is very poor indeed when really i should be 40x's that at least. Now i have the time and commitment i really want to GO FOR IT

Any help advice , do's and Dont's would be very appreciated

I am also a CeMAP mortgage broker.

With regards to increasing your portfolio, now is the best time as you can pick up some good bargains! I know that if you look around the forum, you will find many useful tips and ideas regarding finding properties and increasing your portfolio at speed.

I wish you all the best and i am sure being a broker too, we can bounce ideas amongst ourselves and who knows maybe even do a Joint Venture.

I have a million and one ideas buzzing around in my head - ideally im looking to do a NO cash down rent back (repo propertys mainly) ive done a little research and this seems to be the most cost effective way to do things not only is it NO money up front but by then buying under current value there is scope for cash back dependant on ltv

those are the kind of deals i am looking at too, no money down deals where you can purchase property at considerably below market value and then receive cashback on completion.

I tend to mainly invest in London and south east but am always open to expanding my portfolio. If you need help with any of these deals, Gimme a shout.
