Hi everyone im dave from cumbria,

Im very new to property however iv just completed my first deal thanks to a great sourcer (Not going to say who as i want more of his deals), im looking for deals in liverpool at least 25%bmv in good locations, im also interested in overseas property but only nmd or very little money deals

anyway im glad iv found this site as iv made a few costly mistakes so far (still on the long learning curve) but im still 100% sure property is right for me, im quite focused and motivated, if im honest i trust people to much some times and jump in feet first, but im sick of reading books i just want to get out there and do it!

I have just joined also. I am originally from Kendal and family still live around there, but I moved to Bulgaria in 2006 and built up property portfolio there, now I am living in France and planning to relocate here permanently, once portfolio in Bulgaria sold.

Hi rachel,

Im a VERY keen traveller and have been looking at foreign investments but unsure where to start as theres so many nice places i would love to own a property, such as usa australia spain, my question to you would be how do you over come the finance issues as i would like to buy nmd or little money down, how have you managed with overseas finance?,

as for kendal its a great little place, but thats all it will ever be i guess so my long term plans are to live overseas!,

So whats your plans when you reside in france?

Well as I was buying in Bulgaria and fairly cheap properties mine were all cash deals. Some of the properties I bought were only 5000 Euros at the time of buying a few years ago so finance was not really a requirement.

As for France, going to rent I think for a while, find my feet, see if I like it before buying. But fancy a smallholding type property near Pyrenees.

Will be visiting family around Kendal briefly end of April.
