Im New to this Forum - Im an Investor Based in Essex

Hi All

My name is Andy Lawson, I am 31 years of age, have 3 young children and over the last 5 years I have built a small portfolio of 6 UK properties and 1 overseas property. For my day job I am an Automotive Design Engineer (I design car engines), but my passion is property! I love it, Grand designs, Relocation programs, Rightmove.co.uk, property sections in newspapers..... Im addicted!!

Anyway... I have been reading through Parmdeep's Tycoon website and mini course for a couple of weeks now, and It has inspired me to get more active in the property market.

I am based in Essex so I will be looking local primarily, but I do have some properties in Manchester currently so I will certainly consider investing nationwide.

A warm welcome to the community. I'm from Liverpool but have been based in Manchester for near 10 years now, so if you fancy a beer and a chat over property next time your checking on your properties, give me a shout next time your up.

I'm lucky enough to work full time in property. Am about to take over an estate agent and add a letting agent to this, to add to the investment business I already run. Not selling my wares, but if I can ever help in any way as other people on this forum have helped me, then please shout up, I'd be happy to help any way I can.

My only advice would be beware the "experts" selling education who make money from education and not property (search Andy Shaw and I'm sure (well know) there are many others like him) and beware "equity dazzling". Cashflow cashflow cashflow is all that matters. Equity is a mirage like an oasis in the desert to a thirsty man. Fantastic when real, bollocks until liquid.
